I’m Robert, owner and lead cinematographer at Recap Weddings, based in Charlotte, North Carolina. I’m also a husband, golfer, fitness enthusiast, and full-time filmmaker. Creativity is both my passion and my purpose, and it’s the heart behind every wedding I film. While most weddings share a similar structure, I approach each one with fresh eyes seeking to capture not only the big moments but also the subtle, in-between details that make your day uniquely yours.

My style is rooted in a distinctive color aesthetic and honest storytelling, an approach shaped long before I began filming weddings. From filming friends’ music videos to documenting my travels, I’ve always been drawn to capturing memories with intention. That part-time passion grew into a career built around telling stories that matter.

Today, I partner with couples to create timeless films that reflect their lifestyle, personality, and love story. To me, there is no deeper or more meaningful narrative than two people committing their lives to one another.
